ARCADEBOP INFORMATION
About ArcadeBop
ArcadeBop is a source-checked browser-game directory designed to help people find and start a suitable game quickly. Editorial approach last updated September 2, 2026.
What we do
We curate game metadata, discovery tools and player conveniences such as favorites and recent games. The games themselves are supplied by third-party distribution partners and run inside their hosted frames.
How ArcadeBop works
ArcadeBop publishes a curated selection of third-party browser games. An approved distribution partner hosts each game and any in-game advertising, while ArcadeBop provides discovery, navigation and device-local player conveniences.
Two review levels
Source checked means ArcadeBop verified the distributor source, supplied controls and basic device fit. It does not mean that an editor completed the game or reached normal gameplay.
Play tested is reserved for a hands-on session. A play-tested listing must show the test date, device or browser environment, session length and a specific verdict. ArcadeBop does not currently apply that label when a distributor loader starts but gameplay is not reached.
Editorial approach
Before publication, each catalog entry is checked for an active distributor source, clear title and description, category and tag fit, stated controls, orientation, typical session length and mobile suitability. The catalog-added date and latest source-check date appear on every game page.
Source-based catalog notes are labeled separately from hands-on play notes. A game may be reclassified, corrected, paused or removed when its source, launch behavior or play experience changes.
Sources and corrections
Each game page links to its named distribution source when a specific source page is available. ArcadeBop distinguishes source-based descriptions and estimates from hands-on observations and from the third-party game, trademarks and advertising delivered by the distributor.
Corrections can be sent to hello@arcadebop.com with the affected ArcadeBop URL and supporting information. Material corrections are reflected in the source-check date shown on the page and in the XML sitemap.
Editorial independence
ArcadeBop earns revenue from advertising, including advertising delivered inside distributor-hosted games. Advertising relationships do not buy a higher position in the game catalog. Current game ordering uses relevance, device fit, freshness, variety and player-saved preferences; any future sponsored placement will be clearly labeled.
How discovery and ranking work
Search matching uses titles, genres and source-checked tags. Browse ranking can consider launch reliability, device fit, freshness, variety and device-local preferences. Games with a launch problem may be temporarily deprioritized but remain directly accessible. Paid placement is not part of the formula.
What ArcadeBop does not claim
ArcadeBop is not the developer or owner of distributor-hosted games and does not claim that a listed title is suitable for every player or device. Session length and device-fit labels are practical editorial estimates, not guarantees from the game publisher.
Why use ArcadeBop
Instead of presenting an unfiltered feed, ArcadeBop shows controls, device fit, session length and the evidence level behind each listing before a game starts. Instant Shuffle offers a fast alternative when you want a suggestion without completing a questionnaire.
