About ArcadeBop

What we do

We curate game metadata, discovery tools and player conveniences such as favorites and recent games. The games themselves are supplied by third-party distribution partners and run inside their hosted frames.

How ArcadeBop works

ArcadeBop publishes a curated selection of third-party browser games. An approved distribution partner hosts each game and any in-game advertising, while ArcadeBop provides discovery, navigation and device-local player conveniences.

Two review levels

Source checked identifies a check of the distributor listing, supplied controls and device declarations. It does not mean the controls worked on our devices or that normal gameplay was reached.

Play tested identifies a hands-on session with its date, browser or device, observed actions and verdict. If the session was not timed, we say so. A short interaction record is not proof of a full play loop. Featured picks additionally require device-specific core-flow evidence, useful guidance and a concrete matching reason.

Editorial approach

Catalog pages distinguish the distributor's description and control declarations from our actual observations. The listed orientation follows the supplied frame dimensions; it is not a phone compatibility test. Source information can be incomplete or differ from the game that opens, and the page records known differences and limits.

Catalog-added dates, source-check dates and hands-on dates describe different events. We do not refresh an old gameplay date when editing wording or rechecking a source. Only the actions described in a play record were tested; other levels and devices remain outside that record.

Sources and corrections

Each game page links to its specific distributor listing. ArcadeBop's editorial text is separate from the game, trademarks and in-game advertising supplied by the distributor. A source link is not a claim that ArcadeBop developed or owns the game.

Send corrections to hello@arcadebop.com with the affected ArcadeBop URL and supporting information. Source-check dates change for actual source checks; content modification dates reflect editorial changes. Neither automatically changes a gameplay test date.

Editorial independence

ArcadeBop earns revenue from advertising, including advertising delivered inside distributor-hosted games. Advertising relationships do not buy a higher position in the game catalog. Current game ordering uses relevance, device fit, freshness, variety and player-saved preferences; any future sponsored placement will be clearly labeled.

How discovery and ranking work

The current public selection includes games with dated desktop core-flow evidence, useful guidance and a passed independent agent task record. An independent task checks particular actions, not every control or level. Archived listings are not available in the public directory or search. Saved records of unavailable games remain on your device but no longer offer a play link.

Featured picks additionally require evidence for the selected input mode. Phone gameplay has not been tested; touch-mode recommendations can therefore be empty. Similar-game suggestions need a specific matching reason; we do not fill empty recommendations with unchecked titles.

Discover Games is a device-local ordering, not a measure of site-wide popularity. Recently Opened and daily check-ins record a request to open a game, not saved progress, a completed level or a win. Paid placement is not part of the formula.

What ArcadeBop does not claim

ArcadeBop is not the developer or owner of distributor-hosted games and does not claim that a listed title suits every player or device. A distributor's Mobile Ready label is not an ArcadeBop phone test. We do not show an expected playing-time range without a timing basis; recorded test durations describe the check, not how long everyone will play.

Why use ArcadeBop

Compare the input method, known limitations and specific guidance before opening a game. Featured and similar-game reasons explain what was checked and why that game may fit a preference. Instant Shuffle selects from the eligible picks for your chosen input mode; it does not fill gaps with unchecked games.
